Vic: Tasmanian fire edges towards town
More than 100 homes have been saved from a bushfire burning out of control near theTasmanian town of Bridgewater, north of Hobart.
Tasmanian Fire Service district officer KEN BURNS says the fire broke out yesterdayafternoon and has since travelled 15 kilometres, burning 3,200 hectares.
