VIC: School principals feel schools are badly off: survey
MELBOURNE, Feb 8 AAP - Hundreds of Victorian state school principals felt they had
inadequate resources, relied on school fundraising and had staffing problems, according to an
Australian Education Union (AEU) survey.
The release of the survey of 287 principals, most at primary schools, came as the union
launched a television advertising campaign in the lead up to the state budget, due in early
May, to argue the case for more funds.
Union president Mary Bluett said the survey showed schools needed better resources.
