SA: Papal emissary to lead Adelaide mass

Papal emissary .. Cardinal JAVIER LOZANO BARRAGAN .. will lead a mass in Adelaide today
.. as the culmination to the Catholic World Day of the Sick.

More than 25 bishops will be involved in the service at St Francis Xavier's Cathedral.

Bishops have come from all parts of Australia .. and from Italy .. Papua New Guinea and Vietnam.

World Day of the Sick was inaugurated by Pope JOHN PAUL in 1992 .. to bring attention
to human suffering and the vital role of carers of the sick and the elderly.
